Costes favourites

We like to mix fashion and interior together and love getting inspired by brands like Costes; a young Dutch fashion label. Each season we take a look at the new collection and pick our favourites to share with you on our blog. (See earlier posts for more pictures and inspiration.)



One of the things we really like about this collection are the black, white and grey tones. Maybe other colors make their way in, but we like having basics to rely on so here are our favourites; especially in love with the muse top and the grey cap that fits perfectly!

"Demo in Austin 2015 3" --- Sold

The third demo deals with flowers. Flowers cannot be copied, and they do not have too much room for correction either if you make mistakes. You must slow down significantly, observe seriously, and place down your paint confidently. After the paint is on the canvas, leave it alone.

On a recent cruise we got on and off different vessels in many ways:

from a port taxi to a mooring platform

from the platform to the ship

at a dock -- usually the gangway goes up to the ship

sometimes it goes down

from the ship onto zodiac boats

from the zodiacs onto a boat ramp

from a floating platform onto the zodiac

This is my second demo, which I showed my step-by-step approach. Students followed me closely. This way of teaching has been proved to be very effective to pass on the information.
