Last Monday I went to a press event at Ikea. It was all about the new kitchen system: METOD. This new kitchen system consists of individual building blocks, which allow thousands of different ways to combine. This gives people the freedom to create their own custom kitchen and exploit every inch. “Everybody wants a kitchen that is unique, personal and space for more activities than cooking and eating alone." says Niclas Karlsson, Country Sales Manager of the IKEA Netherlands. The company anticipates the needs of customers by doing research about customer needs.
The kitchens are in different colors and there are countless combinations to make it your own. All you need is the creativity in you... My conclusion is that you can say that METOD is the most personal and flexible IKEA kitchen that has ever been created.
